Mos Def is set to launch a tour of North America kicking off August 1 in Minneapolis, MN. THE ECSTATIC TOUR celebrates Mos Def’s album The Ecstatic, just released on June 9 via Downtown Records to critical acclaim. The tour makes stops throughout many U.S. and Canadian cities including Chicago, Washington D.C., Miami, Calgary, Vancouver and Portland. I have a feeling there’s gonna be a lot of Jay Elect. leaking over the next few weeks. I’ve been anxious to hear what he’s got in store for the listeners out there. I still think the two testimonials (Erykah Badu and Just Blaze) he had on his “Eternal Sunshine” track should be enough for the hungry fans out there peaking to some level of anticipation.
