Egyptian Hip Hop - Middle Name Period
What you get when you blend together witch house and shit-fi and, oh, maybe a little reggae beatz… This shit is bonkers. Keep an eye out for the Manchester via Cairo(?) band’s EP Some Reptiles Grew Wings as well as one of their live shows on a grand UK tour this fall.

All residents are confirmed for this special event. Suffice to say, early arrival is highly recommended for easy entry:
HUDSON MOHAWKE
[Warp]
Hudson Mohawke is a producer who is helping define a new era for hip-hop music. As part of Surface Emp with Dom Sum he played live with many great acts and via records with Mike Slott as Heralds of Change he helped create a new experimental approach to production. At the Red Bull Music Academy in 2007 he was announced by Steve Beckett as the latest signing to Warp. Since then he’s been touring non-stop, and is set to release his debut LP Butter on Warp next month.

Nadsroic and HudMo - Room Mist

Nadsroic is the singing / rapping alias of Ciorsdan Brown alongside the young phenom’ producer Hudson Mohawke. To date the young team have only played a handful of shows as Nadsroic including Radio One Sessions and a few shows alongside JD Twitch and JG Wilkes. Ciorsdan was schooled in the Scottish Highlands emersed in folk music before being dropped in the ugly Glasgow metropol of hip hop, techno, baltimore club & electro. With spells living in Copenhagen and an eminent move to semi - rural Japan it’s hard to say where this 22 year old jetsetter picked up her natural sensibility for real pop and future R&B. When she’s not teaching the children, go see her in a rare live show either back home in Glasgow or Japan.
