On Wednesday, September 9th we are proud to present another historic night at Low End Theory. It’s a European invasion featuring the some of the continent’s best and brightest new talent. We’re calling it a double headliner scenario with both Hudson Mohawke and Dorian Concept set to rock the Low End Theory stage to it’s very foundation. Opening sets by Cinnaman and Mamiko Motto. All residents are confirmed for this special event. Suffice to say, early arrival is highly recommended for easy entry:


HUDSON MOHAWKE
[Warp]
Hudson Mohawke is a producer who is helping define a new era for hip-hop music. As part of Surface Emp with Dom Sum he played live with many great acts and via records with Mike Slott as Heralds of Change he helped create a new experimental approach to production. At the Red Bull Music Academy in 2007 he was announced by Steve Beckett as the latest signing to Warp. Since then he’s been touring non-stop, and is set to release his debut LP Butter on Warp next month.

DORIAN CONCEPT
[Kindred Spirits]
The musical wunderkind known as Dorian Concept is unquestionably one of the brightest stars to emerge in electronic music in recent times. His various releases and remixes have resulted in a serious buzz in the beat community, while his YouTube videos further document his undeniable talent. This is Dorian’s very first Low End Theory appearance. Do not miss his performance!

CINNAMAN
[Beat Dimensions]
Curator of the outrageously awesome Beat Dimensions compilations, the DJ and producer known as Cinnaman is one of Amsterdam’s most influential music figures. In addition to his forays in the record business, Cinnaman also holds down Viral Radio. A perfect addition to this lineup.

MAMIKO MOTTO
[HepCat Radio]
Mamiko Motto a.k.a. DJ 1.1 of HepCat Radio is another huge supporter of the beat movement, and has been documenting the explosion of the scene via her many radio shows and interviews.

Batting first on the Low End Theory lineup is legendary producer and label boss Daddy Kev. As a producer and engineer, he’s spent the last decade crafting classics for the likes of AWOL One, Busdriver, The Grouch, Sage Francis, Mix Master Mike, Abstract Rude, D-Styles, Freestyle Fellowship, The Shape Shifters and many more. His DJ sets are a high-tech affair with Kev primarily engaged in live remixes, slicing experimental beats and hip-hop classics to shreds.

NOBODY
[Plug Research]
From his adventures on the road with Mars Volta and Prefuse 73, to his production and remixes for Postal Service, Mystic Chords of Memory and Busdriver, coupled with his own solo work on labels such as Rough Trade and Plug Research, Nobody is a living tour de force of creative genius.
