The Seed - Duck Down
Our friend Uptown Swuite just scored one of eleven spots for Duck Down’s NBA 2K11 Producer/MC Contest’s potential spot on the soundtrack for the game. The winner will chosen on the 11th next week. I’m unaware of any voting procedures but you can check out the other ten tracks on the contest page. Congrats man!

Here’s a mini documentary on our homie Uptown Swuite’s more recent endeavor, The Seed, a project spearheaded by MC Kahlee, intending to showcase Polynesian culture through a hip hop voice. The tracks featured are from their self-titled EP which can be purchased here.
