Mos Def is set to launch a tour of North America kicking off August 1 in Minneapolis, MN. THE ECSTATIC TOUR celebrates Mos Def’s album The Ecstatic, just released on June 9 via Downtown Records to critical acclaim. The tour makes stops throughout many U.S. and Canadian cities including Chicago, Washington D.C., Miami, Calgary, Vancouver and Portland. Mos Def has asked Jay Electronica to accompany him in opening up the tour on all dates, as well as Erykah Badu andMedina Green in select markets. Hit the jump for the dates.
